Computer Science Using Java

CSR-420

Computer Science Using Java introduces students to the Java programming language using a College Board certified AP curriculum. Topics include basic programming, methods, classes, and data structures. Because this course meets for only 60 hours over the entire school year, it does NOT cover an entire AP Computer Science course and is not sufficient to prepare students for the AP exam.

This course is intended for high school students with some programming experience who are ready for a more challenging programming class. Prerequisites include Algebra 1, CSR-300, CSR-340, or equivalent experience.
